Andrea joined Promotional Concepts as the Marketing Trail Guide. Her 14 years of experience in marketing and sales provide a powerful combination to help guide our nonprofit clients through successful campaigns and projects.
Since moving to Carbondale in 2005, Andrea has worked with non-profit organizations to create successful fundraising campaigns, including events and direct mail programs, as well as enhancing communications efforts for the organizations. Her excellent organization skills allowed her to successfully launch the Mount Sopris Montessori School “Home Tour” fundraising event in 2009?. She has also worked with the Ross Montessori School to implement and grow their Annual Fund and Capital Campaign, and has helped improve the overall communication programs for the school.
Prior to moving to Carbondale with her husband and two children, Andrea was an Account Manager for Silicon Graphics Computer Systems, Inc. (SGI) of Mountain View, CA. For seven years, she sold high-end computing solutions to universities, entertainment and manufacturing companies. Her success in this role stems from her philosophy of developing strong relationships with her clients, and understanding and meeting their needs. She also worked as a Marketing Representative with SGI for five years, creating collateral, managing tradeshows and planning corporate events.
Andrea enjoyed working in the high-tech world because it was always evolving, and there was always something new to learn and share with her clients. At Qualcomm, Inc of San Diego, CA, Andrea was among a handful of employees who built the company’s marketing department in the early days of the organization. Her ability to develop systems for the new department, as well as create a corporate marketing program through collateral development, trade shows and public relations proved extremely valuable to the growing organization.
Andrea holds an MBA and BS in Marketing from California State University, Northridge. She enjoys skiing in the winter, golfing in the summer and is proud of her ‘green belt’ she has earned studying tae kwon do with her two children.
